
Getting ready for the Oakland Running Festival 5K and Half Marathon
- 8:00 AM, SF Presidio Sports Basement. Tempo Run 60 minutes, Runners
- 8:00 AM, Sawyer Camp, San Mateo - Runners, Walkers, All Abilities
Oakland Running Festival Workouts
5K - 1 or 2 times around the lower reservoir trail (5 min warm-up, 35 minutes steady, remainder of time DPA*)
Novice Half Marathoners - 2 hours or more, up to 2 hours 20 minutes) depening on your course
Intermediate Half Marathoners - The intermediate runners should do one loop on the upper train and then determine the rest of their course from there.
Fitness Forever? - 60 minutes or more. You choose.
*Depends on your ability - go for at least 35 minutes "pushing yourself". The rest is to increase your time on your feet.
