WOW Fall Training is winding down and we are starting to ramp up for the Oakland Running Festival Races in March 2011. Join us!

SF Women Intermediate to Advanced Track Workouts
Where: Kezar Stadium

What: Interval workouts for increased performance
When: 6:30am
Details: Workouts change each week. Bring water and layers. Must be able to run a mile in less than 10 minutes. Meet on the track. Look for a group of women and the WOW white board. We usually meet on the north side of the track but, due to lighting, sometimes we meet on the south side in the middle of the straight.

Lake Merritt Tempo Run/Fitness Walk Wednesday Evening at 6:30 PM. Join us!
Where:El Embarcadero, near Lakeside Library

What: Brisk run or fitness walk at a “tempo” pace. This is not a stroll!
When: 6:30pm
Details: For runners, run/walkers, and fitness walkers. We will work on form and speed as we move our way around the lake. For those of you who have raced, we will try to stay at a 10K pace. Novices can run, walk, or run/walk and work on improving your time over the training period. Bring layers. Stay after for a casual meal near-by if time allows.
