With The Oakland Running Festival occuring this Saturday and Sunday, WOW Women will be moving and grooving! We'll do easy, low key track workouts to calm those jittery nerves, then meet for the "BIG EVENTS" - both the 5K and the half marathon. WOW also offers a Saturday run at Sports Basement in San Francisco.
Not racing this weekend? Come on out and cheer on your team-mates. They have worked really hard!

I have not been able to identify a specific meeting spot so let's try to meet about 100 yards from the finish, at Mile 13, on the right side of the street, when looking at the finish line. Look for each other. Wear your WOW t-shirts or bright pink, if possible so that we can try to locate each other. Mainly, of course, be there to cheer on your team-mates as they come through the final yards of their half marathon!
