Taper Week

MARATHON MINUTE - July 24, 2011

It was so wonderful to see the WOW women finish their taper run this morning with smiles on their faces! BRAVA! to all the WOW Women participating in the S.F. Marathon and Half Marathon!

You have step by step, followed through on training with track work-outs, tempo runs and long runs, and now you are ready for Race Day.

You have earned your relaxed week, take it easy, get some rest, hydrate and eat well as you visualize crossing the finish line. Can’t sleep the night before, don’t worry, it’s normal, your adrenaline will keep you going on race day.

Make sure you lay out your clothing and all the items you need the day before the race.

The WOW Team is looking forward to cheering you on at the finish line, so be on the look-out for our bright pink shirts and white hats.
