Rob Medsger - Coach
Rob Medsger, M.S., Rob has been involved in sports, either as an athlete or a trainer, for over twenty years, so he knows the kind of hard work and diligence it takes to reach one’s potential.  He has worked in the East Bay for various training facilities designing fitness programs for individuals wishing to lose weight, increase strength and endurance, and improve quality of life.  He has also worked with youth and adult athletes striving to reach their peak performance.  Some of the sports that Rob has trained clients for include: football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and track and field.   In 2007, he founded his own personal training business, R.A.M. Training, to give people of all ages the opportunity to receive the quality sports and fitness coaching found at many elite training facilities.   To further his lifelong passion for fitness and athletics, Rob completed his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology.  His undergraduate degree provides him with a wealth of knowledge in exercise, nutrition and wellness.  He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach, and a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer.  Rob’s motto is “training for life”.  He recognizes that each person has her/his own goals and each of those goals have their own path.  The important thing is to incorporate a training program that fits your life and your needs. Whether it’s assisting someone wanting to finish a 5k or a full marathon, “training for life” becomes your unique path to a better life.
