Knee pain and UCSF Research

To Whom It May Concern,

Stretch! Don't forget!
Stretch! Don’t forget!
My name is Nicola Cashman and I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at UCSF, working with Dr. Anthony Luke.  We are currently running a study for active individuals between the ages of 30 and 50 who are suffering from unilateral knee pain due to Osteoarthritis.

I am reaching out to you to find out if you think anybody in your running club may be interested.  From our experience, individuals suffering from this problem do not have many options other than physical therapy and dealing with the regular pain can be quite frustrating.

I have attached a flier for you to take a look at; if you have any questions feel free to ask.  Dr. Luke is also always happy to answer any questions that you may have.

If you think there will be interest, please feel free to email the flier to members or post it on your facecbook page.  I am also happy to come to some of your runs if you think anybody would be interested in speaking with me.

Please let me know your thoughts and thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Nicola Cashman, BS
