Oakland Marathon

Thank you for your interest in training for the upcoming Oakland Running Festival (ORF) with the WOW Team.

The WOW Team is the Official Women's Training Program for the 2012 Oakland Running Festival (ORF) offering training for the half marathon, relay, and 5K. We are the ONLY OFFICIAL 5K Training Program.


Weekday and weekend workouts throughout the Bay Area. Up to 7 choices every week!
The Oakland Run Fest 12 week training program starts January 8 but WOW training goes year round. Once you become a member you can work out with the WOW Team forever!

Monday, December 19 7PM - Online Orientation Call and Registration. Details here

Saturday, December 31 8AM -Sawyer Camp, San Mateo Orientation and Registration. 60 minute run or walk and ORF Info meeting immediately following. Details and to RSVP: WOW Team Peninsula Info Meeting

Tuesday, January 3, 6:30PM -Sports Basement, Walnut Creek Orientation and Registration Info Session. Details and to RSVP follow this link

Thursday, January 5, 7:00PM Online call to talk about training with the WOW Team and the upcoming Oakland Half Marathon, Relay, and 5K. Here is the link

Saturday, January 7, 2012 10AM - Training Success Clinic at Chabot College. Meet your WOW Team-mates, WOW Team Coach Stephanie and get prepared for a great training season. Details and Registration: WOW Team Success Clinic
